This summer, the vibrant coastal city of Da Nang once again becomes the spotlight for culture and light art lovers with the return of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) – one of the most anticipated cultural and tourism events of the year.
DIFF is not only a fierce competition among the world’s top fireworks teams, but also a tourism highlight that promotes Da Nang’s image on the international travel map. In 2025, the festival is back with exciting breakthroughs in scale, duration, technology, and audience experience.

DIFF 2025 will run from May 31 to July 12, 2025, under the theme “Da Nang – A New Era.” This will be the longest edition in its 15-year history, featuring 6 fireworks nights every Saturday (except one weekend break before the final).
For the first time, the festival will welcome 10 teams from 9 countries and territories, including: Vietnam (2 teams), Finland, United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, China.
Opening Night (May 31) – Cultural Essence: Vietnam 1 vs Finland
Night 2 (June 7) – Artistic Creativity: Vietnam 2 vs Poland
Night 3 (June 14) – Journey of Connection: Canada vs China
Night 4 (June 21) – Sustainable Development: Portugal vs UK
Night 5 (June 28) – Technology Leading the Way: South Korea vs Italy
Final Night (July 12) – Welcoming a New Era: Top 2 teams compete

The main venue remains along Tran Hung Dao Street, on the eastern bank of the Han River. This year’s stage has been expanded to more than 1,600 square meters, 60% larger than 2024 – the biggest ever in DIFF history.
Not just bigger, this stage also features cutting-edge performance technology, including:

The main grandstand offers about 10,200 seats per night, divided into several categories to fit different preferences:
